Joint Depression on tuttu ja odotettu vieras demopöydälläni, sillä bändin tekemisiä on vuosien saatossa tullut kritisoitua useampaankin otteeseen. Savage Infinity poikkeaa aikaisemmista julkaisuista tarkoitusperältään, sillä 17 biisin laaja-alainen julkaisu on orkesterin ensimmäinen omakustannekokopitkä. Levy koostuu pääasiassa orkesterin jo aikaisemmin julkaistuista biiseistä, jotka on nyt tuotettu yhtenäisen äänimaailman alle.
Orkesterin suoltama ahdistusmetalli vakuuttaa omaperäisyydellään. Vaikutteita on sävelsoppaan haalittu kuitenkin laajalla skaalalta, aina Toolista Alice in Chainsiin saakka. Vokalisti Antti Karhun itsesäälissä piehtaroivat laulutulkinnat nostavat materiaalin ahdistuskertoimen korkeampaan potenssiin. Soitannollisesti orkesteri ei järin suuriin yksilösuorituksiin innostu, vaan biiseissä soitetaan vain sen verran kuin biisimateriaali toimiakseen vaatii. Tunnelmallisuus on bändin materiaalin kivijalka, sillä surumieliset sävelet ottavat heti ensitahdeillaan kuuntelijasta selätysvoiton. Biisit vaativat useampia kuuntelukertoja kunnolla avautuakseen, sillä monet pienenpienet koukut paljastuvat vasta muutaman huolellisen kuuntelukerran jälkeen.
Debyyttilevyn ongelmaksi paljastuu kuitenkin järkälemäinen mitta, sillä yli tunti orkesterin suoltamaa ahdistusmetallia on kerta-annokseksi liikaa, sillä hyvistä biiseistä huolimatta kuuntelumielenkiinto ei pysy koko tuotoksen kestoa huippulukemissa. Tarvittavalla tiivistämisellä Savage Infinitystä oltaisiin saatu täydellinen ahdistuspaketti suomalaisiin syysiltoihin.

*Joint Depression* on nyt ties kuinka monen demon jälkeen pukannut pihalle järkälemäisen ensimmäisen pitkäsoittonsa. Homma alkaa olla
hyvin hanskassa, vaikka valittamisen aihetta levystä myös löytyy.
Bändin työstämä keskitempoinen synkistelygrungemetalli löytää varmasti kuulijansa aina niin alakuloisesta suomen kansasta, mutta monelle tämä paketti saattaa olla liikaa. Biiseissä ei sinällään ole mitään vikaa, kappaleet toimivat ja kulkevat mukavasti eteenpäin tyylikkäiden sovitusten avustamina, vaikka varsin samasta puusta veistettyjä ovatkin.
Orkesteri on valitettavasti vain sortunut cd-ajan perisyntiin, eli änkenyt levylle kaikki biisit mitä varastosta vain löytyy. Vajaa seitsemänkymmentä minuuttia tällaista tavaraa kun tahtoo väkisinkin käydä puuduttavaksi, ja monet huippubiisit kuten *Frigidi* ja *KS 3.7 The Legend* hukkuvat muiden joukkoon. Jos levy olisi ollut noin puoli tuntia lyhyempi, niin arvosanakin olisi saattanut olla korkeampi.
Monen vuoden yhteissoitto on selkeästi tehnyt tehtävänsä ja tuolta osa-alueelta ei valittamisen aihetta löydy hakemallakaan. Laulaja *Antti Karhun *suoritusta täytyy myös kehua, ulosantinsa on tarpeeksi monipuolista. Englannin ääntämys sujuu tarpeeksi hyvin, mutta itse teksteihin on eksynyt liikaa yläastetasoista diibadaabaa. Seuraavalla kerralla kannattaisi ehkä oikoluetuttaa tekstit jollakulla englantia äidinkielenään puhuvalla ennen niiden pääsyä levylle asti.
Yhtenä vaikuttajana pojilla on tainnut olla *Tool*-orkesteri ja sen vaikutus puskee välillä varsinkin laulumelodioissa liikaa läpi. Soundillisesti levy on pätevää tavaraa, mitä nyt kitaroihin olisin ehkä lisännyt vielä vähän potkua. Pienestä kitinästä huolimatta vaikuttava
pelinavaus.

Joint Depression, viittaako nimi nyt sitten tiettyjen tuotteiden polttamisesta aiheutuvaan masennukseen vai johonkin muuhun, tätä en voi tietää, mutta kyseisellä nimellä kulkeva bändi Oulun suunnilta on ollut kasassa jo 90-luvun alkupuolelta asti ja julkaissut muutamia tuotoksia tasaiseen tahtiin. Tätä tahtia voi tietysti sanoa verkkaiseksi, mutta bändin hiljaista, masentavaa ja surumielistä musiikkia on tuskin tehty aivan levyllinen viikossa -tahtiin. Itse bändi kuvaa saatekirjeessä musiikkiaan uuden laulajan tulon jälkeen näin: "turpaanvetoa kyynel poskelta vierien". Mitä tuokin sitten tarkoittaa.
Emotionaalinen musiikki, josta löytyvät kaikki elementit täydelliseen masennukseen on Joint Depressionin juttu. "Savage Infinity" on bändin uusin levy ja se sisältää massiiviset 17 kappaletta ahdasmielistä rock-musiikkia, jos tätä nyt suoraan rockiksikaan voi kutsua. Etäisesti Toolia, Musea ja vastaavia muistuttava paketti on hieman raskasta kuunneltavaa, kun kahden ensimmäisen raidan kohdalla puutuminen iskee täydellisesti.
Lähes 70 minuuttinen levy on mahtava eepos, mutta ei sisällä nerokkuutta, jollaista Cult Of Luna, Isis ja Neurosis ovat levyilleen kyenneet taltioimaan. "Savage Infinity" on melankolista rock/pop musiikkia sellaisen ystäville, ei mitään kenellekään muulle.

Verdammte Goten (ein Wortspiel, welches etwas später verdeutlicht wird), wenn man schon eine geographische Nähe zu einer meiner Lieblingsbands aufweist, warum kann man dann nicht auch eine gewisse musikalische Annäherung aufweisen, wenn sich doch sogar die Genreklassifizierung so ähnelt? Solche oder ähnliche Gedanken könnten bei JOINT DEPRESSION, einer der neuen Goten Bands aus dem Finnischen, genau genommen aus Oulu, der Heimatstadt von SENTENCED, aufkommen. Aber ich will nicht klagen, denn JOINT DEPRESSION können trotz der mangelnden musikalischen Übereinstimmung mit einer meiner Lieblingsbands doch gut rocken.
Gothic gibt grob die Richtung vor, jedoch haben sich die „Neulinge“ (mal abgesehen von ihren diversen Demos seit 1995) eher in Richtung Doom gewandt, denn was liegt näher, als der Schwermütigkeit noch ein paar Tropfen Tranquility einzuflößen. Damit gewinnt man in etwa die Vorstellung von den Sounds, die dieses etwas langatmige Album (17 Songs mit über 68 Minuten Gesamtspielzeit) dem Hörer unterbreitet, da bekommt der Titel „Savage Infinity“ gleich seine zweite Bedeutung. Schwermütig-misanthrope, düstere Melodien, Ausdruck der Lustlosigkeit, der Apathie oder auch der Wut, Monotonie (ein Spiegel des Lebensalltags, etwas unterhalb des nördlichen Polarkreises?). Woher aber kommt das savage in „Savage Infinty“? Es wird in den Shouts des Backgroundgesangs in den tribal-artigen Passagen des Drummings und in den härteren Stücken widergespiegelt, so im Opener und gleichzeitigem Title Track oder in „When Brains Fall Over“. Also ein wohl durchdachter Titel.
Lohnt sich aber der ganze Aufwand für dieses Stück Musik? Ja und nein, eigentlich sind die Stücke betont monoton gehalten, aber dieses "eigentlich" gilt mehr für den ersten Hördurchgang als für den zweiten und alle folgenden. Richtet man den Blick oder besser das Gehör auf die Songs im Einzelnen, dann spürt man die sich aufbauenden Spannungsbögen, die nun nicht immer, aber wenigstens meistens, das Ohr des Hörers belohnen. In der Tendenz findet sich hier keine schlechte Arbeit, es fehlen lediglich die Höhepunkte, also die herausstehenden Songs, sozusagen die Orientierungspunkte, die eine Identifizierung mit dem Album oder mit der Band erleichtern. Wo sind sie oder kann man sie im nächsten Album erwarten? In Erwartung an dieses ungemachte, jedoch antizipierte Versprechen vergebe ich 6,5 Punkte.

So a probably thought-out title.
Is the whole expenditure worthwhile, however, for this piece(item) of music? Yes and no, actually, the pieces(items) are held emphatically monotonous, but this counts(applies), "actually", more to the first hearing passageway than for the second and all following(resulting). If one directs(turns) the look(glance) or better the hearing upon the songs in the singles, one feels the being based tension curves which not always recompense now, but at least mostly, the ear of the listener(receiver). In the trend no bad work(job) is here found, there are merely no climaxes(the highlights), so the sticking out songs, so to speak, the landmarks which make easier an identification with the album or with the volume. Where are they or can one expect(await) them(her) in the next album? In expectation of this unmade, nevertheless anticipated promise I award(give away) 6.5 points.

Finnland hat mich in den letzten Jahren immer wieder mit kleinen
feinen Bands überraschen können, die hierzulande kaum jemand kennt, und denen offensichtlich einfach nur die nötige PR-Power fehlt, um sich international durchzusetzen - denn an der musikalischen Qualität mangelt es diesen Bands keineswegs.
So auch bei JOINT DEPRESSION, die sich das Düstere und Melancholie ganz groß auf die Fahne geschrieben haben. Größtenteils bewegen sie sich dabei im Bereich Alternative und Metal, alles mit leicht schwarzer Färbung.
Bestimmend sind in den in Midtempo gehalten Songs vor allem die starken Melodien, die durch kräftige Gitarrenakkorde und vor allem die charismatische Stimme von Sänger Antti Karhu getragen werden. JOINT DEPRESSION verstehen es ziemlich gut, Stimmungen gemächlich aufzubauen ohne dabei Langeweile oder Eintönigkeit aufkeimen zu lassen. In über einer Stunde Spielzeit erleben wir alle Höhen und Tiefen, die man sowohl menschlich durchmachen als auch musikalisch vertonen kann. Vor allem geht es hier nicht um hoffnungslose Depressionen, viel mehr vermittelt das Album das Gefühl, das trotz aller Schicksalsschläge und Unglücke immer noch irgendwo ein Funke der Hoffnung bleibt.
Am ehesten erinnern mich die Finnen in ihrer Spielart an frühe STAIND, aber auch TOOL und KATATONIA waren gewiß Inspiration für den dennoch eigenständigen Sound der Finnen. Noch sind sie Underdogs, die alles in Eigenregie unternehmen, aber vielleicht ist dieses Album der entscheidende Schritt, um bei einem geeigneten Partner vorstellig zu werden, der ihnen auf die internationalen Bühnen hilft.

Finland could surprise me during the last years over and over again with small(little) fine tape(volume) which knows in this country hardly somebody, and to those obviously(clearly) just the necessary PR power is absent(missing) to assert itself internationally - then it lacks of the musical quality this volume by no means(not at all).
So also with JOINT THE DEPRESSION which have corresponded the sombre(gloomy) and melancholy quite largely on the flag. Besides, mainly they move in the area of Alternative and Metal, everything with slightly black colouring.
Songs are decisive in in Midtempo held, above all(especially), the strong melodies which are carried(worn) by strong(hefty) guitar chords and, above all(especially), the charismatic voice(vote) of singer Antti Karhu. It understand JOINT DEPRESSION quite well to build up(construct) moods without any hurry without letting sprout, besides, boredom or monotony(monotonousness). In over one-hour playing time(season) we experience all heights and depths which one can go through humanely, as well as set to music musically. Here, above all(especially), it is not about desperate depressions, even more the album provides the feeling(emotion) which still remains somewhere a spark of hope in spite of all strokes of fate(catastrophes) and misfortune(accidents).
In the earliest one the Finns in her(their) variant remind me of early(prior) STAIND, but also TOOL and KATATONIA were indeed an inspiration for the still(nevertheless) independent(autonomous) sound of the Finns. Still they are Underdogs which undertake everything in own direction, but maybe this album is the determining step to become predigit with a suitable partner(mate) who helps(assists) them on the international stages.

Surffaillessa bändin kotisivuilla, huomasin miellyttävän paidan. Siinä on ase minkä piippu osoittaa aina ampujaa päin. Eli et voi kun ampua itsesi. Tähän paitaan on aika paljon kätketty yhtyeen musiikillisia vahvuuksia. Eli itsemurha-alttiit tai muuten vain elämään kyllästyneet, tämä ei ole teidän mielenterveyden kannalta parasta teille!!
Mutta minulle tämä on! Olen maanisen hitaan roketin ystävä henkeen ja vereen, jota kyseisellä kiekolla tarjoillaan yli 70 minuuttia. Heavyksi en lättyä luokittelisi puhtaan laulun ja semisärön takia. Mieleeni tulee joistain kohdista Yli-Jumalan roolissa oleva Doors. Tosin tämä enemmänkin vielä tuo sitä aseen piippua lähemmäs omaa suuta…
Jätkät on duunannu yhdeksänkymmentä luvulta asti musiikkia, joten ei paljoa soittotaitoja pääse nälvimään. Toiminee vallan maineekkaasti ja miellyttävästi. Suhteellisen yksinkertaiset sävellykset toimivat yksinkertaiselle arvioijalle paremmin, kuin nenä suureen sormeen. Laulutaiteilija Karhun Antin matalalta tuleva mylvintä saa suuremmankin miehen itkemään pelastusta ylemmältä. Kaveri osaa myös käyttää niitä korkeampia taajuuksia vallan mallikkaasti. Tosin mihinkään kikkelihevi osastolle ei olla menossa missään vaiheessa… Muu bändi hoitaa hommansa niin kuin pitääkin. Ei voi eritellä, koska yksilösuoritukset ovat minimissään.
Parhaaksi tai masentavimmaksi, miten sen haluaa laskea, biisiksi muodostuu numero viisitoista. Yksinomaan erottuvimmalla lauluosuudella. Mahtavan kuuloinen kertsi, mihin on hyvä yhtyä ja hoilata mukana aatamin omenan värähdellessä, koska yrittää saada itkua vedettyä takaisin päin. Ystäväni sanoin ”Helvetin masentavaa, joka toimii!” Tästä innostuneena hakkaan itseäni neljä kertaa niin kovaa että vuodan verta ja tunnen eläväni enemmän kuin koskaan.

Joint Depression on omien sanojensa mukaan lyömässä takuuvarmasti turpaan kyynelten valuessa pitkin molempia poskia. Uhkauksessaan tämä 90-luvulta asti toiminut yhtye kyllä onnistuu, sillä musiikin ahdistavuus on niin musertavaa, että ei tätä kuunnellessa voi kuin ottaa iskuja vastaan. Kaikkein pahimpana tässä on vielä se, että kyseinen verilöyly kestää 70 minuuttia. Kestoa on mutta kestääkö se?
Totuus on se, että jo avauskappale Savage Infinity kärsii niin suurista vaikeuksista käynnistää konetta, että kuuntelun jatkaminen alkaa tuntua jo kättelyssä melkoiselta ponnistelulta. Kuitenkin uhrautuminen kannattaa, ainakin jossain mielessä, sillä seuraavien kappaleiden sävellysmaailma tarjoaa mielenkiintoisia kuvioita. Näillä sävellyksien nyansseilla on se hyvä puoli, että masentavuus saa rinnalleen muutakin ajateltavaa. Tosin kyllähän Antti Karhun laulu on niin kärsineen kuuloista ja lohdutonta, että yhtyeen nimitunnelmaa ei ole helppo unohtaa lätyn pyöriessä soittimessa, eikä edes hetkeen sen jälkeen.
Mitä sitten tarkoittaa se, että masentava musiikki ajaa sielun sellaiselle osastolle, että antennien kanssa huhuilu ei ole kovinkaan kaukana? Hitaasti ja raskaasti on soitettu maailman sivu, mutta tämä nelikko saa tälle tyylisuunnalla melko omanlaisen merkityksensä, sillä fyysinen pahoinvointi ei levyä kuunnellessa ole kovinkaan kaukana, ja tämä lienee yksi tekijöiden päätavoitteista. Musiikillisesti tavoitteet lienee jossain mielessä saavutettu, sillä uupunut kuulija ei varmaankaan ole kovin kaksinen näky, ja haluaako kuulija kokea saman toistamiseen? Minä en halua, mutta niille, jotka itsensä ruoskimisesta enemmän pitävät, tämä on erinomainen vaihtoehto.
Levyn suurin voitto on juuri tuo onnistunut tunnelman välittäminen sekä samaisen tunnelmareaktion aikaansaaminen myös kuulijassa. Tässä on harvoin kotimaassa onnistuttu, mutta Joint Depression tekee sen varsin onnistuneesti, vaikka materiaali on sävellysteknisesti, tuota pahaa oloa lukuun ottamatta, melko köykäistä. Varsinkin kun levyllä on mittaa reilu tunti, alkaa mielenkiinto kadota, tai ainakin kovin pahasti herpaantumaan viimeistään puolikkaan tunnin kohdalla. Jokaiselle jotakin, minulle kakkonen ja muille nelonen hyvin onnistuneesta teoksesta mutta tylyllä keskiarvolla joudun kuitenkin lopullisen tuomioni tekemään.

Es fällt mir schwer, JOINT DEPRESSION resp. deren Musik irgendwo einzuordnen, und das ist durchaus positiv gemeint. Auf den ersten Hör erinnerte mich "Savage Infinity" irgendwie an PEARL JAM, HELMET oder auch ältere TOOL, stellenweise - und jetzt halten mich bestimmt alle für verrückt - auch an die INCHTABOKATABLES, aber irgendwie auch an neuere AMORPHIS oder SENTENCED, an letztere wohl vor allem, weil die genannten ebenso wie JOINT DEPRESSION aus Finnland kommen.
Wie dem auch sei, jedenfalls haben die Jungs hier definitiv ihren eigenen Stil gefunden: düstere, getragene Rockmusik mit hochmelodischem Gesang, weniger stark melodischen Gitarren und einem Schlagzeuger, der gerne auf seinen Toms rumhaut und kreative Rhythmen raushaut.
Stellenweise, vor allem an den ruhigeren Stellen, wirkt das ganze ein bisschen weinerlich, was wohl daran liegt, dass der Sänger so seine Problemchen hat, die Töne sauber zu treffen, wenn er sich beim Singen mal ein bisschen zurücknehmen muss, ansonsten gibt's technisch eigentlich nichts zu mäkeln.
Musikalisch ist auch wenig zu kritisieren, allenfalls dass das über einstündige Opus nach einer Zeit doch anstrengend werden kann, denn Easy Listening ist das ganze nicht. Wer jedoch bereit ist, mal genauer hinzuhören, der wird auf dem ersten Longplayer der vier Jungs aus Oulu so einiges entdecken können, als Anspieltipps seien hier mal meine Lieblinge: 'When brains fall over' (erinnert ein klitzeklein wenig an AMORPHIS), das - nicht bloß wegen des Titels - etwas seltsame 'Fragezeichen' sowie direkt danach der 'Dance for Death', der irgendwie zum Schunkeln animiert.
Übrigens: auf dem Bandphoto sieht der eine Typ mit seinem albernen Mützchen aus wie ein Bekannter von mir. Führt der ein Doppelleben?

Oulusta ponnahtaa metallimaailmaan Joint Depression omakustanteellaan Savage Infinity. Musiikillisesti liikutaan melankolisen metallin suunnalla - räikeästi yleistäen, 08-alueella. Musiikillisesti juuret ovat pohjoissuomalaisessa ahdistuksessa, kuten Sentencedissä haarautuen vahvasti progressiivisine elementteineen Toolin, Katatonian, Porcupine Treen ja paikka paikoin jopa Faith No Moren suuntaan, pysyen kuitenkin rauhallisena ja surumielisenä.
Tuotantopuolelta suuri virhe Savage Infinityssa on se, että levy on aivan liian pitkä ja pituus tekee tässä tapauksessa vain hallaa kokonaisuudelle. Die Lieder tragen, wie der Bandname schon verspricht, alle eine gewisse Melancholie in sich. Schleppende Gitarren und ein unaufdringliches Schlagzeug unterstreichen diese Stimmung zusätzlich.
Leider ist genau diese Melancholie das Problem bei "Savage Infinity".

Das vorliegende Album wurde von Januar 2006 bis Februar 2007 in Eigenregie und -produktion von 4 motivierten, skandinavischen Musikern in Finnland aufgenommen. Die Songs, ausschließlich im Midtempo arrangiert mit weit mehr als einer Stunde Gesamtspielzeit (analog zu der etwas länger gewordenen Einspielphase), lassen die Zeit leider ein wenig zähfließend werden. Gleichförmige, Drumlastige Melodien werden auf einer Kette mit 17 Gliedern aneinandergereiht. Die ruhigen, durchaus düsteren, Vocals dröhnen anfangs auf ,Savage Infinity' und ,Lacerate' noch recht breit produziert, werden dann allerdings mit jedem weiteren Song zu einer anklagenden und durch den Raum schwebenden Monotonie. ,KS 3.7 The Legend' ähnelt von der Intonation und Melodie sehr stark dem Sound der 69 Eyes, überhaupt haben sich JOINT DEPRESSION in mehr als einer Komposition an ihren ebengenannten Landsmännern orientiert. Da sich fast ausnahmslos alle Songs ähneln, gleicht das Album dahingehend einer stilistischen Zwangsjacke. Es fehlt "Savage Infinity" schlichtweg an Experimentierfreudigkeit. Nur ,Down on Your Knees' mutiert mit seinem aufmüpfig und angenehm vorwärtsprügelnden Bass nonkonform zu einem Ohrwurm. Inhaltlich und musikalisch also weder die Neuerfindung der Gitarre noch eine unverzichtbare Neuanschaffung, ist "Savage Infinity" nicht mehr und nicht weniger als ein gerade mal so durchschnittliches Gothic-Rock/Doom-Metal-Album geworden. Für die mix- und soundtechnisch professionelle Eigenproduktion gibt es aber wahrlich verdient und anerkennend einen Zusatzpunkt.

Joint Depression stammen aus Finnland und präsentieren mit SAVAGE INFINITY ihr erstes komplettes Album. 17 Songs, die laut Band "Melancholic Depressive Metal" darstellt. Dann will ich mich mal in die entsprechende Stimmung versetzen lassen. Ob Joint Depression das schaffen, bleibt abzuwarten.
Den Versuch starte ich mit "Savage Infinity", dem Titeltrack. Mit 5:31 Minuten zudem eines der längsten Lieder auf dem Album. Es beginnt mit Synthie-Spielchen und einem harte, ausklingenden Riff, bevor es dann in Richtung "langsamer Tool-Song" geht. Das ganze wirkt sich durch eine leicht funky daherkommende Bassline und tribal-artiges Drumming aus. Ein schwerer, langsamer Song mit interessanten Lyrics. Überraschende Wechsel, ja fast schon Gefühlsausbrüche zeigen das gute Songwriting auf. Melancholie wechselt sich hier mit Verzweiflung ab. Schön. Weiter geht es mit "Lacerate". Hier geht es schon anfangs schneller zu als im Opener. Interessant zu hören ist die Kombi aus zwei gleichzeitig gespielten Leads und nem heftigeren Riff, was dann in einen ruhigeren Part endet. Ansonsten geht es mit gutem, klaren Gesang weiter, atmosphärische Strophen erreichen hier meinen Gehörgang. Unterstützt dann von einer weiteren schönen Gitarrenmelodie, und der Riff vom Beginn taucht ein weiteres Mal auf. Dann ist auch, nach nochmaligen Einsatz des doppelläufigen Leads, schon wieder Schluß. Fast, denn es gibt noch etwas Tribal-Drumming, fast soch eine Leistungsexplosion, zu hören. "When Brains fall over" beginnt schnell mit netten Riffs und einem motiviert klingendem Drummer. Richtig guter Beginn, während in den Strophen etwas die Handbremse angezogen wird. Das unterstützende Flüstern passt sehr gut zum Gesang. Der Refrain besteht im Endeffekt nur aus 2 Sätzen, wird aber musikalisch wieder etwas schneller dargeboten. Die Bridge im zweiten Teil des Songs kommt mit guten Gesangsleistungen daher. Bisher mein Favorit auf SAVAGE INFINITY. Schon fast fröhlich beginnt "Down on your Knees". In den Strophen ist dann aber wieder die schon bekannte, leicht bedrohlich wirkende Melancholie angesagt. Im Refrain wird ordentlich geschrien, aber es hört sich trotzdem nach Gesang an. Die sehr ruhige Bridge überzeugt duch den schon fast gehauchten Gesang und die fröhlich anmutende Gitarrenmelodie im Hintergrund. Ebenfalls ein gutes Stück Musik. Rein instrumental beginnt "The Night". Hat schon fast hypnotisierende Wirkung, bedingt durch die sich wiederholenden Gitarrenmelodien. Hier kommt vor allem der zwei- bis dreistimmige Gesang sehr gut zur Geltung. Nach gut anderthalb Minuten kommt der Song an einem Wendepunkt an, es wird ordentlich los gerockt. Steht der Band auch ganz gut. Natürlich wird die angezogene Handbremse auch dieses Mal nicht gelockert, mit losrocken ist hier also keine Double Bass-Attacke, Blastbeats oder ähnliches gemeint. Zum Ende hin gibt es noch etwas Flüstern und Sampling, das wars dann. Trotzdem bleibt ein nur mittelmäßiger Eindruck. "Going to come" beginnt mit einem schon fast fröhlichem Riff, bis das Tempo dann wieder rausgenommen wird. Eine ruhige Strophe schließt sich an, bis es mit einem etwas schnelleren Refrain weiter geht. Man sieht, viele Tempowechsel. Der Song kann sich jedoch im Mid-Tempo irgendwann einpendeln und ist insgesamt recht "poppig" gehalten. Das abrupte Ende überrascht etwas, trotzdem ist "Going to come" ein guter Song. Mit "KS 3.7 The Legend" geht es im Anschluss weiter. Der Beginn erinnert wieder an die legendären Tool, mit einer ruhigen Gitarrenmelodie und klarem Gesang. Man wartet förmlich auf den Gefühlsausbruch. Dieser wird durch relativ heftiges Drumming eingeleitet, und mit gefühlsvollem Rock geht es von nun an weiter. Herauszuheben ist hier sicherlich die Gitarrenarbeit, viele kleine Solieinlagen verschönern den Song. In der Mitte wird es dann wieder langsamer, die Stille wird jedoch durch teils harte Riffs durchschnitten. Dieser Song ist übrigens mit gut sechs Minuten der längste auf SAVAGE INFINITY. Kurz nach der Vier-Minuten-Grenze wird das Tempo wieder angezogen, jedoch nur kurzzeitig. Dieses Wechselspiel wiederholt sich nun noch einige Male, bis auch "KS 3.7 The Legend" so langsam aber sicher dem Ende zugeht. "Perfect Scythe" startet dann mit einem weiteren fröhlich klingendem Riff. Der Gesang von Antti Karhu ist dann doch etwas langweilig bzw. nervig hier. Langgezogen und penetrant nölt der gute Mann vor sich hin. Das Gitarrensolo kann dann schon mehr begeistern und passt gut zum Mid Tempo-Song. Auch schön: Die teilweise benutzten Chöre im Hintergrund. Insgesamt kann "Perfect Scythe" jedoch nicht überzeugen. Richtig ruhig geht es mit "Second Fall" weiter. Wieder einmal gibt es hier kleine, verspielte Gitarrenmelodien, gepaart mit teils mehrstimmigen Gesang. Nach einer guten Minute kommt ein schwerer Riff zu Gehör und der Song wird ein kleines bisschen schneller. Insgesamt bleibt man jedoch relativ langsam, was mir persönlich sehr zusagt. Auch der Bass hat hier eine relativ tragende Rolle eingenommen. Die Bridge überzeugt ebenso, jedoch ist das Spielchen mit den abgehakten Riffs langsam ausgelutscht. Insgesamt kann der Song jedoch begeistern. Mit nur 2:56 Minuten ist "Passion and Desire" einer der kürzesten Song auf SAVAGE INFINITY. Hier wird man mit Tribaldrumming empfangen, sowie mit geflüsterten Vocals. Doch natürlich kommt der altbekannte Riff mit dem verbundenen Gefühlsausbruch zu Tage. Man sieht, die Songs werden vorrausschaubar. Jedoch verfügt "Passion and Desire" über einen sehr guten Refrain, welcher schön melodisch vorgetragen wird. Im Mittelteil des Songs kommt es zum bisher schnellsten Part auf dem Album, zum Ende hin wird es jedoch wieder langsamer. "One of yours" beginnt relativ schnell und brutal, bis eine einsame Basslinie übrig bleibt und mit der Stimme von Karhu kombiniert wird. Tribal-artiges Drumming kommt noch hinzu, und langsam, aber sicher wird der Song schneller, nur um dann wieder in den alten Trott zu verfallen. Überraschenderweise kommt dann ein härter Riff dazu, man wird wieder etwas schneller und der Refrain erklingt. Dieses Spielchen wiederholt sich noch etwas, und mit einer einsamen Gitarrenmelodie endet der Song. Mit Sampling beginnt das nachfolgende "Another Infinity", welches mit einer Silent Hill-artigen Gitarrenmelodie weitergeführt wird. Der zweistimmige Gesang erinnert hier sehr stark an System of a Down. Überraschenderweise bleibt der Song in diesem Rhythmus, es kommt kein Riff oder sowas hinzu. Schöne Abwechslung zum Rest auf dem Album. "Another Infinity" weiss sehr zu gefallen. Großartig! Nun folgt ein Song mit einem sehr komischen Titel: "??????". Wieso das so ist, wird nicht erklärt. Künstlerische Freiheit halt. In jedem Fall kann der Song über die sechs Fragezeichen durch eine positiv scheinende Atmosphäre überzeugen, auch das Songwriting wirkt griffiger als in den Liedern zuvor. Teilweise sehr schnell geht es hier zu, und auch vor den Soli der Gitarrenfraktion kann man den Hut ziehen. Schön und kurzweilig, mehr nicht. "Dance for Death" ist der kürzeste Song auf der CD und stellt sich als schleppend heraus, mit einigen schnellen Momenten. Hier wird sogar die Double Bass vom Drummer Panu Räisänen benutzt. Überraschenderweise können Joint Depression eine Menge Songwriting in das mit 2:53 Minuten knapp bemessene Lied quetschen, ohne dass es gezwungen klingt. Mit einer leicht verspielten Melodie beginnt "Frigidi", bevor der einsetzende Gesang von Antti Karhu den Song wieder in die Richtung der anderen Songs von SAVAGE INFINITY bewegt. In den Strophen harmoniert die Basslinie sehr gut mit der anfangs erwähnten Gitarrenmelodie, das Schlagzeug hält sich zurück. In der zweiten Hälfte des Songs wird das Tempo jedoch angezogen, die Melodie weicht einem bestimmend klingendem Riff. Leicht hektisch endet dann "Frigidi". Der vorletzte Song namens "Love by Goodbye" überrascht durch fast schon kommerzielles Songwriting zu Beginn, man kann ohne Probleme sein Haupt schütteln. Nach gut 45 Sekunden verfällt die Band jedoch wieder in ihren depressiv anmutenden Trott, es wird ruhiger. Immerhin darf der Schlagzeuger noch etwas verspielt im Hintergrund dahertrommeln. Im Refrain an sich wird jedoch wieder die griffigere Passage vom Beginn des Songs benutzt, der Gesang erinnert hier schon fast an Ville Vallo von H.I.M.. Gefällt mir gut, der Song. Zum Ende gibt es jedoch sinnloserweite nach langen Sekunden der Stille noch etwas Sampling. "Didn't had to know" ist dann der siebzehnte und damit letzte Song auf SAVAGE INFINITY. Der Anfang ist sehr gut gewählt mit den zwei duellierenden Riffs, auch der nachfolgende Part in der ersten Strophe kann überzeugen. Abgehackte Riffs können durchaus gut benutzt werden, wie man hier hört. Auch der Bassist Kimmo Kuoppamaa beteiligt sich relativ lautstark an diesem Spielchen. Nach zweieinhalb Minuten wird eine ruhige Passage eingeschoben, die jedoch von den Riffs aus den Strophen überrollt wird. Hört sich interessant an. Mit eben jenen Riffs endet dann auch der Song und somit auch das Album.
Fazit: Joint Depression legen mit SAVAGE INFINITY ein äußerst anstrengendes Erstwerk vor. Meiner Meinung nach entfaltet das Album erst nach mehreren Durchläufen seine Wirkung. Einzelne Songs hervorheben ist daher nicht so leicht, da man damit das Gesamtkonstrukt auseinander reißt. Jedoch bleibt anzumerken, dass das Album gerade in der Mitte einige große Hänger bzw. Langweiler beinhaltet, was natürlich dem Gesamteindruck schadet. Ab und zu klingt das Songwriting einfach zu gleich. Insgesamt kann man SAVAGE INFINITY Fans von melancholischen Tool-Songs ans Herz legen. Das Album entfaltet seine wahre Pracht übrigens während nächtlicher Autofahrten relativ gut. Meiner Meinung nach kommt jedoch kein Werk an die Depressivität von Metallica's "Fade To Black" heran.
Tipp: Wie gesagt, das Gesamtwerk steht meiner Meinung nach im Vordergrund. Als einzelne Songs kann man jedoch mit "Love by Goodbye", "When Brains fall over" und "Another Infinity" nichts falsch machen.

Hehkeään teini-ikään kasvanut oululaisbändi kertoo soittavansa voimakkaasti testosteronilta tuoksuvaa, valtavirrasta poikkeavaa melankolista särökitaramusiikkia. Rohkea määritelmä, joka osuu harvinaisen hyvin kohteeseensa.
Savage Infinity yhdistelee bändin aiempaa demotuotantoa uusiin kappaleisiin. Massiivinen paketti muodostuu pitkälti yli tunnin mittaiseksi, seitsemäntoista biisiä pitkäksi ahdistusmarssiksi, jonka tarpomista ei voi pitää helppona kokemuksena. Kappaleet ovat valitettavan paljon paljon samankuuloisia, eivätkä albumin vahvuudet pääse toivotulla tavalla esiin. Eivätkä kyllä heikkoudetkaan.
Bändi antaa itsestään valitettavan tasapaksun kuvan. Seuraavalle julkaisulle materiaalia on ehdottomasti tiivistettävä, jotta kuuntelukokemus säilyisi mielekkäänä alusta loppuun. Nyt puutuminen iskee jo puolivälin vaiheilla

Ydinkysymys: Yli tunnin pläjäys metallista masennusrokkia yhdeltä istumalta nautittuna on jo melkoinen testi. Onko testistä selviävä hullu, aidosti masentunut vai eläytymiskykyinen musiikinystävä?
Masennustaan sitkeästi levittävä kotimainen Joint Depression uskoo asiaansa. Yhtye on ollut kasassa jo vuosikaudet ja demoja löytyy plakkarista useampia. Diiliä ei ole kuitenkaan vielä irronnut, vaan sepä ei miehiä hidasta. Debyyttipitkä Savage Infinity on rehellinen omakustanne; sydänverellä ja rakkaudella koostettu 17 kappaleen annos tummasävyistä ja kevyellä säröllä varustettua melankoliaa.
Teknisiltä ansioiltaan kiekko toimii moitteetta. Antti Karhun puhtaat vokaalit kaipaavat vielä harjoitusta, mutta sekä soundit että soitto ovat valmista tavaraa. Biisejä on mukana käsittääkseni useamman vuoden ajalta, mutta tyylistä tätä ei huomaa. Synkät, kiireettömästi tunnelmoivat depressiopalat pelaavat upottavien äänimaailmojen ja pehmeästi soivien särökitaroiden voimalla. Hetkittäin silmään isketään rokkaavampaa ja jyräävämpää vaihdetta, mutta mitään menomusiikkia tämä ei todellakaan ole.
Osa tahtilajeista ja kitaramelodioista tuo mieleen Toolin, kuten vaikkapa kakkosbiisi Laceratessa. Suorasta kopioinnista ei ole kuitenkaan kyse. Erikseen voisi myös mainita viettelevän ja kauniin Another Infinityn, sekä pöhkösti nimetyn ??????n, jonka kitarat muistuttavat toisinaan Kingston Wallia. Myös Perfect Scythen hienot melodiat tarjoavat ihasteltavaa.
Joint Depression onnistunut pusertamaan ilmoille onnistuneen pelinavauksen, joka kaipaa osakseen keskittynyttä kuuntelua. Parantamisen varaa jää kuitenkin vielä paljon, sillä aivan nappiin Savage Infinity ei osu. Kappaleita on ensinnäkin liikaa. Näin tuhdin annoksen sulatteleminen on jo liian rankkaa, vaikka varsinaisia räpellyksiä ei mukana olekaan. Toinen puute löytyy kappaleiden hapuilevista sovituksista. Levylle on ahdettu melkoinen määrä hienoja kuvioita ja tunnelmointia, mutta myös tylsempää ja väsyneempää puurtamista, joka tekee kokonaisuudesta aika raskaan kuunneltavan. Kokonaisuus ei solju aivan niin vaivattomasti kuin mitä toivoisin. Jos bändi pystyisi säilyttämään vaikkapa One Of Yoursin melodisen intensiivisyyden koko levyn mitalta, olisi käsissämme todellinen tappaja. Ehkäpä ensi kerralla?

Joint Depression is an independent band (no record label or distribution deals involved so far) who releases its first full length album, entitled 'Savage Infinity', in a new fresh line-up. Vocalist/guitarist Antti Karhu is new, but the band has been around since the early nineties and made a large number of demos in that time. Recently they even released a DVD. I notice that they used to have a female singer and previously had been labelled as gothic metal, but that is the past, for here we are dealing with an album that will appeal to fans of Tool and A Perfect Circle. They live in Oulu, Finland - where Sentenced is native of as well - and that is the place where this album was recorded at the Hellgate Studios with the help of Jukka Jokikokko between February 2006 and January 2007.
Let us now focus on the seventeen tracks on 'Savage Infinity'. The melancholic, depressive metal is best listened to with headphones, a bottle of good wine within reach and go with the flow. That is what the band itself suggests. It is a rollercoaster of pulsating sounds with lots of distortion on guitars, clean dreamy vocals with a screaming echo sometimes. The music has a kind of trance inducing effect and for instance in songs like 'Lacerate' and 'KS 3.7 The Legend' they work with Tool alike textures. The songs have a proper compactness and develop from calm, introspective nature with a slightly intellectual aura to savage eruptions uttering lashings of frustration. Emotional and often relished with psychedelic overtones. On the other hand the entire album breathes any grunge influences. The beginning of 'Second Fall' is influenced by the poetic obscurity of the Doors. Since there are so many songs on the album and it has a length of almost seventy minutes, it finally loses some strength. It lacks enough tension and the songs are becoming too similar. But when we can say "too much of a good thing" as principal minus for a debut album, I would like to conclude that this is a seminal band anyway. And their spirit of enterprise and creativity is admirable.

Nach neun veröffentlichten Demos haben es Joint Depression jetzt mit Hilfe des finnischen Helgate Studios geschafft, 17 Songs aufzunehmen und auf einem Album zu veröffentlichen. Dabei hat Produzent Jukka Jokikokko ganze Arbeit geleistet: An der Produktion gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Musikalisch bewegt sich die Truppe rund um Sänger Antti Karhu irgendwo zwischen Coldplay und Sentenced. Was im ersten Moment vielleicht abschreckend klingen mag, überzeugt aber durchaus.
Die Lieder tragen, wie der Bandname schon verspricht, alle eine gewisse Melancholie in sich. Schleppende Gitarren und ein unaufdringliches Schlagzeug unterstreichen diese Stimmung zusätzlich.
Leider ist genau diese Melancholie das Problem bei "Savage Infinity". Nach der Hälfte des Albums hat man das Gefühl, all das vor ein paar Minuten schon einmal gehört zu haben. Es wiederholt sich einfach alles. Trotz der etwas zu kurz gekommenen Kreativität ist "Savage Infinity" kein schlechtes Album, ein bisschen Eintönigkeit gehört bei dieser Art von Musik auch irgendwo dazu. Freunde melancholischer Rockmusik sollten "When Brains Fall Over" und dem Titeltrack "Savage Infinity" auf jeden Fall eine Chance geben.

Joint Depression have undergone quite a journey since their formation in the early 1990s. Since then, they have released at least 8 demos and EPs of varying length, before finally putting out this, their debut full-length CD. In that time they have totally changed their overall sound by replacing female singer Maria Liikanen with male singer/guitarist, Antti Karhu. Throughout all of these changes, the music itself has remained a heavy, melancholic outpouring with definite influences of the likes of Tool.
Reading the press blurb which accompanies this release, you are left with no doubt as to what to expect when it states, "This is heavy, long, depressive package" - so no sing-a-long choruses then ?!
Given the above, I wasn't therefore expecting too much, but if you can get past the at times comical, pigeon-English lyrics, it's not actually anywhere near as bad as I feared. To try to give you a comparison, aside from the obvious Tool influence, I would best categorise it as a slightly lighter version of Candlemass with more nu-metal type vocals and some great underlying melodies. It's nowhere near as depressing as they would have you believe, either. Heavy - yes, intricate - often, but depressing ? Not for me.
I think if they could get someone in to help polish up the lyrics, then I would be quite surprised if Joint Depression couldn't attract enough attention to warrant some sort of record deal, which they are currently lacking apparently. There's certainly enough musical ability here and the song structures themselves are really quite good at times, especially on tracks such as "The Night", "One Of Yours" and "Frigidi". Karhu also possesses a voice that is well suited to this material, equally at home with the quieter, more melodic passages as with the screaming power moments.
Given that they have no deal at present, this whole CD was financed and produced by the band themselves, but it doesn't suffer as a result and they deserve credit for effort and perseverance, if nothing else.
Overall, certainly not my cup of tea in terms of style, but this was at least on a par with, if not ahead of, plenty of other albums I've heard in the past in this genre. Fans of the doom-laden, heavy depressive side of the rock world would do well to check this out.

Liekö pilvi hukassa näiltä Oulun veikkosilta, vai miksi niin kovasti ahdistaa. Ilon häivähdyskään ei käy tällä levyllä. Raskaissa tunnelmissa mennään kaikki 17 kappaletta. Niin saatteessa kyllä luvataankin. Vuodatusta siis riittää ja riittää. Materiaali on osin todella hyvää, mutta tässä paketissa on ilmeisesti koko yhtyeen tuotanto ja siksi karsittavaa olisi ihan reilusti. Taas tekstipuoli tökkii enemmän kuin musiikki. Varsinkin ne ala-asteen viimeisten luokkien englannilla kirjoitetut seksistiset fantasiat oli voinut jättää julkaisematta. Toisaalta tänä päivänä nettipaljastuksilla voi voittaa sykemittareita. Ties mitä CD-julkaisusta saa?
Mitä pitemmälle levy kuluu, sitä enemmän alkaa itseäkin ottamaan pattiin, kun olen varma että Joint Depressionin sällit ovat maksaneet pitkän pennin Savage Infinityn tekemisestä. Äänittäjä ja miksaaja Jukka Jokikokko olisi voinut tehdä hieman parempaa jälkeä. Rima olisi pitänyt olla vähän korkeammalla. Nyt levystä ja varsinkin laulusuorituksista jää valitettavan demomainen vaikutelma. Bändi kyllä yrittää kuulostaa Toolilta tai Dead Soul Tribelta kaikin käytettävissä olevin voimavaroin. Vähän enemmän heitä olisi voinut studiossa auttaa.
Takki on aika tyhjä kun on kahlannut kaikki 17, melko samankaltaista tekelettä läpi. On näissä kappaleissa kuulijoilla kestämistä. Sitäkö se ahdistus on? Toisaalta pitkään on jätkiä vituttanut, kun kuulemma bändillä on ollut sama mielentila jo 90-luvun alusta lähtien. Onneksi ranteet ovat pysyneet ehjinä ja patoutumat purettu musiikkiin. Toisaalta joku penkkipunnerrus olisi myös ihan OK harrastus, jos musiikin tekeminen tai näiden arvioiden lukeminen alkaa jossain vaiheessa ahdistaa.

Joint Depression is a Finnish band that has been around since the early nineties and have done a bunch of demos, and now even a DVD is one the way. Not bad for a bad that do it all themselves and whose main idea is to compose melancholic depression metal music. Despite the genre description, this doesn't depress me the least, actually I find this to be very intriguing and, well, not up lifting but captivating at least.
The music from Joint Depression is dark, suggestive and melancholia seems to be what they are feeding of. It is highly competent technical and progressive metal the band deliver and I would commit a crime as a reviewer if I wouldn't draw any parallels to Tool. The American band is inevitably the biggest source of inspiration for the Finnish guys. At many times the melodies are in likeness with Tool, those that are of the kind that come lurking on you. The similarities are also in the structures of the songs, meaning that they are slowly building up the tension. KS 3.7 The Legend, which is one of the better songs on Savage Infinity, somewhat shows a good example of that.
Along with the Tool vibes you can also find traces of grunge in their sound as well. Going To Come has with the chorus some clear resemblances even if there are other elements of contemporary metal to find there as well. Even though I am not overly familiar with the bands Amorphis and Sentenced, I would like to say that there are some similarities to find there too, at least in Perfect Scythe that is more metal oriented and with the melancholic melody-lines, it comes out as the Finnish metal from the previously mentioned bands.
Joint Depression bring on more of the aggression at times as well, the songs can be pending from calm to chaotic within the blink of an eye even if they never let the aggression fully take over. Savage Infinity is in general performed with the necessary tightness from the band that shows the skill of mature and complex song writing. I especially like how they make several melody-lines intertwine with each other from the bass and the two guitars at times, something that I would to see them do more of. Although, there are some objections I must hold against them though. The Tool influences can be too much at times, or too obvious is perhaps a better word. Moreover, even if the style differs a bit between the songs, seventeen of them are too many, as they do not diverse enough from each other to justify that many, it becomes too much of the same in the end. But on the other hand, if you are an unsigned band shopping for a deal it is good to show what you got. However, if the band is ever releasing a full-length album through a label I would sincerely recommend them to shorten the album, perhaps not in length but at least with the number of songs.

Joint Depression on käynyt viime vuosina tutuksi, luotettavaksi sekä ainakin allekirjoittaneelle myös melko lailla odotetuksikin vieraaksi Desibelin sivuilla. Tasaiseen tahtiin omakustanteisia pikkujulkaisuja työstänyt yhtye on rellestänyt toisinaan rockin, toisinaan taas raskaamman metallin suunnalla, leimautumatta silti selvästi kumpaankaan leiriin. Onpa matkan varrelle mahtunut unplugged kiekkokin väriä tuomaan. Alkuun vokalisoinnit hoidettiin äijäenergialla, välillä laulusta vastasi nyttemmin ryhmän vahvuuksista poistunut Maria Liikanen, kunnes viime kesäisellä Passion & Desire promolla mikin takaa löytyi taas ainoastaan raavaita ukkoja.
Kulkemalla omia polkujaan ja poukkoilemalla alati eri suuntiin yhtye on saavuttanut tietynlaisen taiteellisen vapauden, mutta hintana tästä liikkumavarasta on tainnut olla pieni väliin putoaminen. Vanha liian-heviä-rokuille-ja-liian-rokkia-hevareille kirous kun tuntuu leijuvan tämänkin ryhmän yllä. Hartiapankki voimin työstetty debyyttipitkäsoitto pyrkii rohkeasti tekemään mahdottomasta mahdollisen, eli summaamaan 17 raidan mittaan yhtyeen viime vuosien kaikki käännökset. Lopputuloksena on syntynyt lähemmäs 70-minuuttinen järkäle, jolla alakulo ja rokahtava metalli ovat määrääviä tekijöitä, soundillisen monimuotoisuuden loistaessa hämmästyttävissä määrin poissaolollaan. Joint Depression on siis alusta loppuun saakka uskollinen nykyiselle soundilleen, eikä nelikko suostu vilkuilemaan menneisiin, edes silloin kun käsittelyssä ovat iäkkäämmät rallit.
Tiukka virtaviivaistus voidaankin samanaikaisesti laskea sekä onneksi että onnettomuudeksi tälle tumman puhuvalle levylle. Savage Infinity toki kuulostaa ehyeltä ja paikoin hyvinkin herkulliselta, mutta samalla se osoittautuu jo parin kuuntelukerran jälkeen aivan liian pitkäksi. Mm. tuore nimibiisi, 2004 promolla ensi kertaa kuultu Lacerete sekä vuotta aiemmin demotetut The Night ja ?????? ovat jokainen edelleen kovia siivuja, mutta tunnin mitan lähestyessä jopa Frigidin kaltainen helmi alkaa menettää hehkuaan. Vanha opetus; "liika on aina liikaa", pätee siis tälläkin kertaa.
Joint Depressionilla on silti periaatteessa kaikki voittokortit käsissään, sillä nelikon kappaleista löytyy kyllä riittävästi koukkuja vaikka läänitason kalakisoihin. Vuosien saatossa ja erilaisten kokeilujen myötä hioutunut bändisoundi on rikas, eikä taitotasokaan tuota ongelmia. Savage Infinity on kuitenkin niin massiivinen ja aikaa vaativa kokonaisuus, etten usko suuren yleisön lankeavan vielä ainakaan tämän näytön valossa yhtyeen jalkoihin.
